   Built in 2004 our "drive to" lodge is located in area 25 which consist of approximately 90,000 sq acres of remote hunting area, only accessible by All Terrain Vehicles and Argos that hosts vast open country, as far as the eye can see, for endless views to glass plus endless miles of trails which hosts the prime habitat for moose and black bear, with no local hunting pressure.

   Northwest Gander Outfitters' main lodge is fully equipped with all the comforts of home and accommodates up to 4 hunters per week. You will surely never leave the table hungry. In our full service kitchen we employ a fulltime cook that prepares delicious traditional Newfoundland meals as well as many other home cooked dishes during your stay. After a full day in hunter's heaven, it is the perfect retreat.

   Your hosts Matt and Connie as well as our head guide is on site 24/7 and hunters are provided with one of our experienced guides that will lead you to an adventure that will last a lifetime.  Each guide field dresses and retrieves your animal in preparation for them to be butchered - All included in your package!

All of our staff are First Aid and CPR certified.
